24. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (INCLUDE SCOPE, SIZE, AND COST)

Project Description and Scope:

Construction activities include all structural, roadway, electrical and mechanical work required for the following:

Removal of the Cantilever Bridge Superstructure from approximately 125 meters west of Pier E3 center line to Pier E1;
Removal of Pier E1 to approximately elevation 45;
Removal of Bypass Structure from Pier E1 to Bent 45A;
Completion of the Eastbound On-ramp, the bike path, the bike path landing and Southgate Road.

ASC serves as the Contractor’s Vibration Consultant, providing real-time vibration monitoring and suggesting mitigation measures, where applicable.

Construction Cost: Approximately $60 Million
