Current Openings:

F/T Instrumentation Specialist:
  • Manage Geotechnical Instrumentation scope of work on large complex tunneling projects;
  • Manage Noise & Vibration Monitoring & Control scope of work on large complex tunneling projects
  • Manage Pre- & Post-construction Survey scope of work on large complex tunneling projects
  • Monitor, review and communicate progress to ensure schedules are being met in conformance with design specifications and guidelines, and that performance is of adequate quality;
  • Ensure that proposed instrumentation meets Project Specification requirements;
  • Review of Project Geotechnical Instrumentation Plans and Specifications;
  • Organize technical material into comprehensive reports, as well as, perform QA/QC reviews on work product;
  • Review installation techniques to ensure conformance with Specification requirements;
  • Manage and coordinate responses to Data Threshold Alerts for Geotechnical Instrumentation, and Noise & Vibration Sensors during construction operations in conformance with project specifications;
  • Analyze as-built utility drawings with regards to instrumentation installation locations;
  • Coordination with Project Owner and third-party Stakeholders (City Departments and Agencies);
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractor scope of services, including drilling, traffic control, spoil disposal, air-vacuuming, and Preconstruction Survey of Utilities, etc.;
  • Coordinate construction quality control services; conduct periodic site visits, and review daily field reports for tracking work progress, including review of boring logs for drilling operations, along with soil sampling and classification, and other submittal requirements;
  • Implementation of CQWPs;
  • Plan and schedule all project tasks: geotechnical field instrumentation installation, construction and data collection as required.

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
