Project Description and Scope:

The Transbay Transit Center Project consists of the construction of a new four-story above-grade Transit Center, consisting of a grand hall, retail and office space, a bus plaza, an elevated bus deck, and a 5-acre roof-level park.

Two below-grade rail levels, servicing Caltrain and the future CA High-speed Rail system, will consist of a mixed-use concourse and train platforms.

On Contract TG06 – the $120 Million Below Grade Structural Concrete Substructure, Waterproofing, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Package – construction involves: structural concrete foundations, reinforcement, embedded items, substructure construction, below-grade waterproofing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure.

The Contractor’s scheduled typical operations include the following:

• Mat Pour
• Sheer Walls/Knockout Walls
• Walls / Columns (Lower)
• Concourse Slab
• Concourse Walls/Columns
• Ramps
• Other Walls

ASC’s Scope:

ASC is providing Noise & Vibration Monitoring for the project.
